My protaginist is a cavalier. I just defeated Firkragg but i cant use the sword he gave me.

Is there some way to restore your reputation from the past.
I brought my reputation up to 20 and nothing happened.

You cannot become a paladin again once you are fallen. Sorry. :(

Keneth, that's not entirely true, one of the stronghold quests will restore paladin status to a fallen paladin. Since he's already got Carsomyr, I assume he's done the stronghold already, so there's no other in game way to do it.
