I'm not new to the game, but recently ive been having some problems with the "character busy" text when i talk to an npc. In chapter 3, I had a problem with Aran Linvail who wouldnt talk so i CLUACONSOLE ed another one of him in and talked to the clone.
However, I'm now in the Underdark and Solaufein wont talk when I find him outside Ust Natha for the "rescue Phare" quest. If i CLUACONSOLE another solaufein then Phare thinks I killed Solaufein and she attacks me.... if I kill one then I fail the quest. HELP!

Are you using Windows 2000 or XP? if so this is a common problem. Bioware have brought out a Patch for Throne of Bhaal that you can download from their site that will eliminate this problem.
