I just downloaded WeiDU (just being few hours)
and i got a few tutorials so i could get used to it. however! when i load up WeiDU it displays what appears to be a list of commands, and sais hit enter for more, u do this a few time the it says enter arguments? now i hit enter again and it closes. so i thort hmm??? and loaded again, this time i just typed in what the tutorial said, and it seemed to ignore the command and just bring up the next set of commands. i then tryed again at the enter arguments bit and as soon as i hit enter it does it again. i then tryed just typing in some of the commands it was displaying the fact is i cant do anything with it please help!!!

What exactly are you trying to do? We need a bit more detail if we're to try and help. :D

If you're trying to do something like decompile a dlg file, then you need to use WeiDU at the command line, such as what you're doing. If you're trying to do something like create a kit, item, NPC, etc. then you'll need to set up a basic mod.

Rename WeiDU.exe to Setup-MyMod.exe, create a folder named MyMod, and create a text file called Setup-MyMod.tp2 inside the folder. Create a backup folder inside MyMod and then start trying some basic stuff in the tp2 file. Though it is primarily about kit creation, I do touch upon the basics of setting up a mod in my Kit Making Tutorial series (http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=898).
