I couldn't find an appropriate thread, so I started a new one. What rings do you put on your FMT? Ring of Gaxx and Ring of Free Action are the first two in mind, but what about the additional spell ones (acuity and wizardry)? Oh, as you might ask, I'm thinking of FMT with Anomen. Just the pair, a happy couple out righting wrongs or wronging rights, depending on how his test goes. :angel: :evil:

That sounds like a nightmare pairing. Anyway, I use ring of wizardry, and free action or protection +2 (i think Gaxx is too powerful). Use the free action ring when casting web and greater malison together and kill with ease.

I usually switch one ring to what the situation needs but keep the wizardry one on at all times because the mage side levels up slower and so you need all the high level spell help you can get.

Free Action and Gaax when soloing. I'd probably suggest Gaax and RoP +2 if you have Annoyman in the party with you. Clerics should have that Free Action ring.

If you have ItemUpgrade Mods you can try Ring of Perseverations +2, they are basically rings of protection+2 plus regeneration (almost handy) that can be worn with other ring of protections, perseverations and/or magical suits of armor. (although this may be a bug)

Just give Cromwell a ring of protection+2, A ring of regeneration, a diamond and some GP. (it can be created by RoP+1 but it will be weaker.)

OR what about SORCERIAN ring? That ring is just super, it puts Ring of Acuity, Wizardry, Amulet of MetaSpellInfluence, and RoP+1 into one spiffy ring! GREAT for mages! You can wear different rings, amulets now while having the benefit of all mage enhancing jewelry, plus +1 protection!

There are lots of cool amulets and rings that can be created by Cromwell but you need a lot of items and thus will only create them near the end of the game. (after underdark) Amulet of Lathander is GREAT! (SUPER AC, protection, plus HEAL 1/day) so ring of elementals (combine all elemental rings)! TRY THEM if you like...
