NOW that is something I REALLY WANT TO TRY. ( I am quite fond of dear Immy!) Do you suggest it? Is it buggy or compatible with other mods I have(tactics, imp.battles, ascension etc.) WHAT do you think? Have you tried it?

I tried it years ago, its ok, but not my thing. I didnt complete it so i don't know if its buggy.

I'm not sure I'd call an incestous relationship with your sister 'cute.' But to each their own. There have been several threads about this (including one that is ongoing in the SoA section). You may also find info by searching on 'Imoen romance' in SoA and ToB sections. From what I've read, the Imoen Romance seems a little buggy.

It's my favourite romance. I highly recommend you try it, although the TOB part is not out yet.

:D Well, it is not like we are TRUE sisters and brothers, perhaps we are even more closer than it! WHO knows what has happened when we were back in Candlekeep, growing together....I simply love Imoen so much and have found that original game-in dialogues are so few to show this DEEP love...So decided to try this rather 'innocent' mod :)

QUESTION:I read that if there is another romance active, Imoen will not romance you! I have MULTIPLE ROMANCES companent so will this work? I just need Jaheira romance (ring of wizardry and 100.000xp) and I may think to persuade Viconia to goodness. (NEVER tried but it sounds like HARD and FUN) BUT also I DO want to 'play' with Immy in my next game. SO help me? Can you clear my confusion? (I am NOT such a BAD boy in true life, mind you :D )

I were very interested of it too, but it's too buggy and, truth to tell, not that well written or designed. Too many events are tied to places (which are easy to miss) and if you miss something, the romance is screwed. If you compare it to the original romances, it's not on-par with them at all... This is a pity, since Imoen really should had been one of the romanceable characters.

Can I romance multiple NPCs (including Immy) with my component? If Immy's romance is screwed up, then I can always have Jaheira or Viccy maybe?

It's up to you, but don't you think you're the only one who is who has had thoughts about concurrent romaces + Imoen Romance. :D

To answer: no, they don't work together. Imoen Romance is a separate component and the romance-patch doesn't alter it in any way, so her romance will be busted from the very beginning, conviniently not letting you even know about it.

Then maybe it is not for me. I like multiple rommances a lot. Indeed, I like anything that makes my game longer and harder. (multiple strongholds, tactics etc.)

ONE more question though, how SERIOUS gets Imoen romance? I am not asking for spoilers, just being a little curious. I mean err...you know what I meant right? :)

As SERIOUS as any romance you find out there. Eventually, anyways. :)

Edit: I also always thought Imoen needed more dialogues, and if you install the PocketPlane banter pack she gets quite a few more. But I've heard that it may conflict with the Jaheira romance in Throne of Bhaal, so you may want to be careful.

It was never buggy for me, actually. I really think you should try it sometime, and I *do* think it is quite well-written. :p

Now everybody's idea is different and I am confused again.

@Jesper898, did you have any other mods in addition to Imoen Romance when you played it? Maybe it works without bugs in unmodded games, but with tons of other mods I have I am now afraid to touch it as I know there is nothing worse than a buggy game! (I may work hard to reach Immy but then a stupid bug may ruin my game and hard effort!)

Yeah, I always have a bunch of mods, like banter packs/flirt packs and assorted extra NPCs. Don't see any reason why Immy would be incompatible with any mods that doesn't involve her. (And just keep your hands off the other ladies. Imoen is great :p )

Worked last time I tried. I am playing Bg1 now, and I will add Kelsey and Tashia, too, when I get to BG2. Immy romance worked fine with those too, last time.

Ummm OK I will try it when I have really conquered all other romances. I will now tackle Vicky for the first time and try to redeem her as stated in my other topic, and take Jaheire as well (I am looking forward for their cat-fight. Luckily I have concurrent romances so it will not get very ugly)

But I agree that Immy is great! I will most certainly try her!

Umm what should I do if I want to romance Immy but also take trusted Jaheira with me without actually romancing her? Should I be rude and heartless to Jaheira to reject her romancing attempts? Oh it is just not for me to treat her so...

Well, you should just tell her you do not love her. :)
You will not just suddenly be in a romance with an NPC.
Just tell them you are not interested.

Speaking of an Immy romance...if you install the Kelsey NPC mod, he and she have a romance that you get to watch progress. I like it since ToB has *way* to few dialogs...and IIRC the Kelsey mod has ZERO bugs. But I'm not sure. :rolling:

I have heard of some minor bugs in Kelsey but not with that sequence. There's one banter in that sequence, though, that made me roll my eyes in exasperation, I guess you'd call it. And then there's the incident involving the memorized spells, which usually happens right around the time you have to face Xei Win Toh and her allies. :mad:

Don't let my negativity put you off, though, there's some reason Kelsey is so popular.

I know Kelsey, never tried though. I do not like sorcerers (envy???) as I think they are rather too powerful, why, at level 20 they have 6 ninth lvl spells and do not progress anymore! (as spells per day) Outrageous! And you can not dual/multi them. (It could be cool as even a 20th sorcerer level is more than enough and one can then dual it?)

I thought Kelsey would romance the PC (even male? Soluafein DID this :) ) so this means PC and Immy will be opponents to take Kelsey? Can be interesting though...

Kelsey is pretty bug-free.

^Then again, he is not my thing, for an NPC or a possible romance...
