Ok, so I presume the fighter is wielding in his right hand the Axe of Unyelding +5. There are a couple of weapons I didn't put in my list. I will list them here and the reasons why I didn't add them to the list.

1) Crom Faeyr - I think this is a good weapon for any dual wielding priest, especially for the ranger/cleric multi-class, since they already start with 3 points in two weapons fighting. The main weapon for them would be Imroved Mace of Disruption for the SoA, upgrading to the Runehammer in ToB. One can also use the Flail of Many Heads ;) for the non-undead combat.

2) The Blackrazor long sword. I didn't list it mainly because it would've win. And another reason is because I think this would be a better weapon for backstabing, with the increased number of attacks/round. Just think about an Assassin dual-wielding this and any other good weapon, let's say Celestial Fury or Hindo's Doom.

I picked Angurvadal for the simplistic reasoning of it provides the best abilities of those weapons stated. Oh, and I dislike getting level drained, so the immunity to it is mostly why. Blackrazor is overrated imo. What was the reason for not listing FoA and Crom Faeyr?

EDIT: Ah, ty Fel. Still is weird you would let the FoA go to a cleric, when it can benefit a fighter as well. Then the reason would be better put as we only want *bladed* weapons for a fighter.

I voted Belm because it's always there when you need it, and it deserves at least one vote. :p Long term, though, I'd go with Angurvadal too. The strength bonus makes up for the loss of the Girdle that goes into making Crom Faeyr (if you don't cheat, that is).

@kuemper:
See 1). I'm guessing he means that he's saving those for his cleric characters.

I picked The Answerer. It looks like a boss killer to me. And makes enemies vulnerable to my mages and fighters. In easy fights, Angurvadal is good. I dislike Belm. Maybe because everybody loves it. :) No, just joking. I don't like it because it is only a +2 weapon (the only +2 weapon in this list), which makes it ideal for the middle game part (until the end of SoA). And, as time goes, your fighters will gain more attacks per round through proficiency, making Belm a poor choice. And the +3 from Blackrazor is also another reason why I don't like to use it on on fighters. I like to keep my fighters equiped with at least +4 weapons. And in ToB one has plenty to choose from...
And, yes, I didn't list the blunt weapons because there isn't quite that many weapons for priests, and I keep those for them.
