View Full Version : Where are these screenshots from?
Aerie's Number One Fan Mon, 27th Mar '06, 11:26pm Going through one of the various BG2 sites, I saw a few screenshots of an area that I don't recognize.

Where in the game is this area? The table and the seven chairs in the last two shots look like they are a portrayal of the scene at the end of SoA, but I haven't seen anything like this, and I don't believe it's from a Mod.
Jhonka Mon, 27th Mar '06, 11:32pm That's the Twisted Rune area, accessed from the Bridge District.
Aerie's Number One Fan Mon, 27th Mar '06, 11:35pm How do you get to there?
It's strange that I've not seen it before, but at least it means in my next game I can go somewhere new, which is refreshing.
Maurolava Mon, 27th Mar '06, 11:53pm As Jhonka said, is in the Bridge District (x 1800 y 3345), you need a Rogue Stone to bieng able to enter, is a difficult battle, recommended to do after Chapter 6
Xindell Mon, 27th Mar '06, 11:55pm It's in one of the doors in the southeartern area. You need to have a Rogue Stone in your inventory to get in. Beware, it's a tough fight.
Aerie's Number One Fan Mon, 27th Mar '06, 11:57pm I have memories of that fight now. Very unpleasant memories. I never got past the battle part as I always got killed and wound up skipping it.
Faraaz Tue, 28th Mar '06, 5:06pm Heh...if you find that hard, you should try Improved Twisted Rune...
Layene actually USES SotM this time around!
Silverstar Tue, 28th Mar '06, 5:34pm ^Yes, and they all teleport to very startegic places to ambush you and then Rune Assasins get summoned non-stop. Needles to remind 'slightly' smarter liches and mages component. FUN fight!
Panopticon Tue, 28th Mar '06, 11:21pm Hmm... I can't really understand why everyone says that is such a difficult fight. With some planning ahead at least I had no problems at all. I did it in chapter 2 and I only lost a couple of hitpoints totally in my group.. Some traps and a couple of skull traps if I remember correctly and the rest was for my tanks to just mop up.
Faraaz Wed, 29th Mar '06, 2:06pm Ah...but you had a party...I'm also assuming you were around lvl 12-13 or so.
Well, its a lot harder when you're a solo single classed mage. :)
Of course, if you're of a high enoughg level...14-15 solo, (not too hard), its definitely doable.
But if you're a newbie...BEWARE!
Silverstar Wed, 29th Mar '06, 2:36pm Yep, if you save over previous areas you may be BADLY stuck, be thankful the game auto-saves beforehand!
