Does anyone have any idea about maximum ammount of attacks?

My berserker, with 2 battleaxes and maxed proficiences, have only 4 attacks and my friends paladin, with Carsomyr and maxed proficiences, 3 attacks. Both have boots of speed and similar stuff. Tho paladins dex is 19 and berserkers 18.

But anyway, my opinion is that berserker with max stars in weapontype and 2weaponstyle should have more than just 1 attacks more than paladin with huge azzkicker and only 2stars in weapontype and 2hweaponstyle.

So is that 4 attacks max or sumthin?

I don't know about the max number of attacks, but the highest number I've had (without whirlwind attack) is ten (slayer with improved haste). The same character normally has four attacks per round (two shortswords +3). I think that archers and monks get five attacks per round (without spells and the like).

I'm dead sure that you can never have more than five attacks.

Max is 5 attacks/round.
the most Dual weild will ever get you is 1 extra attack. Off hand can only get 1 attack per round in so your doing 3 with your primary hand and 1 with you off hand.

Ok, i have a related question: How may attacks does a thief(assasin) get? Cause i only have one attack and its very annoying because then my character wont be able to backstab as good.

I think that fighter types (and the monk) are the only people that get any bonus attacks other than dual wielding.

The ways that I know for sure to get more attacks a round are:

Dual wielding --------- 1
Having 2 * --------- 1/2
Reaching 7 or 9 as a fighter/ranger etc. 1/2 (Not positive when)
Using Belm --------- 1
Using Whirlwind ------- Set to 10
Improved haste -------- Doubles your attacks per round
Haste --------- 1
I don't have any experience with Monks (never got to worked up with them) so I'm not sure about their attacks, except that there is a special sword that gives one more attack used only by them (One of the bonus merchants). Also, I've heard the slayer gets more attacks a round, but again, I've never tried it.

Hi,

Another weapon that gives extra attacks is Kudanes short sword (sword of quickness). In the description it says it has no speed factor. What it doesn't say is that it gives you one extra attack per round just like the scimitar of belm!

Cheers,
