In my games,(most notable: in watcher's keep, level of lum's machine), there is a sort of translucent box around the flames after i light the torches. same thing with any flames already in the game (not caused by fire spells and effects). Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance

Don't install any mods with the game. Make sure it is patched. Problem solved

Have you checked your settings -particularly everything rated to transparency?

I had the same problems when I installed mods with the game. There is only one fix, delete the whole thing and reinstall without any mods. Don’t bother wasting time changing graphics settings. If you don’t want to reinstall then you will have to get used to playing with these bugs.

The advice is well and sound. The mods are not a minor possibility they are the cause.

Right. Then according to you, all the graphic problems I've had with the IE games in the past were also due to mods. The only problem being, I didn't have any mods installed when I've experienced those problems. And I'm sure dozens of people who have posted about graphic problems on these boards had no mods installed either. Not to mention the dozens of people who DO play with mods installed and don't have any problems. But if by all means you insist on making your statements look even more ridiculous, keep this inane argument up. :rolleyes:

Yeah, i don't think its the mods. I have zero mods installed and in Amkethran there is a bright green box around all the candles and torches.
