I have just purchased the Baldurs Gate II collection and started a new game. When I got to the Sewer Golem and tried to initiate conversation all I got is "Golem is too busy to answer". The same thing happens when I go back with the activation stone, so basicaly I am forever stuck in the starting dungeon !

what is the "stuttering" bug and is there any way to remove the "too busy" thing for good? Oh that and the "you cannot rest at this time". The good thing at BGI was that it didn't have these problems.

Yeah, install the official patch and BD. You should have very few problems after that. I've never had a stuttering problem, except with a certain point in the game; I think it's usually a problem with scripts.
