Maybe I should make this as a poll but I'm lazy so I won't

Anyway this is a difficult question imo as so many weapons in BG look great, theirs plenty of very good looking vanilla enchanted weapons but none of them really stand out, so I'd say the Equaliser, followed by CF.

The Ravager is a pretty nifty looking weapon. And the Flail of Ages +5.

Well, it depends a bit on whether or not your talking about how they look in your inventory, or how the look on-screen. For example, I think Flame Tongue looks pretty cool if your character is equipped with it.

The Moonblade of Xan and the Flaming Sword (used by e.g. Doom Guards) in BG1 and TotSC. In BGII, they made the flaming effect trashy. In BGII, the glowing effects (RGB glowing) of weapons are cool. But without doubt, the coolest are the BG1 ones mentioned above.

It was a good item indeed. It has no use though, at least I could not use it. They should have added 1D2 damage however! :)

The Drow weapons look cool.

I like how the mace of disruption looks. Sure it is probably completely unpractical as far as weapon design goes but it looks nice.

I remember cursing greatly at how the mace turned normal looking after being upgraded until I found the mod that gives the upgraded variety its proper appearance.

In terms of how it looks outside of inventory pictures I would have to agree that BG1 flaming swords are very nice.

A bit off topic, but I also like the glowing green and acid dripping animations for acidic weapons in NWN.

The Short Sword of Mask looks pretty cool in the inventory screen, as well as the Ravager. The Axe of the Unyielding has a creative, almost-not-an-axe design. Most of the TOB weapons are pretty well-designed, at least aesthetically.

Aldeth, just whatever you want, if you like the avatar apperance say so, if you like the image say so, doesnt matter just whatever you like.

I think they should have made a blue flameblade type apperance for the Equlizer, and also why isn't their an upgrade for it? it's awesome roleplay wise like any historical weapon you have to forge, sucH as Crom and FoA it should be upgraded to be powerful imo and their are so few good longswords until ToB. The MoD unupgraded reminds me of a brick, but better the the bs apperance of the upgraded one.

Call me crazy, but I really like the inventory look of the Silver Sword. Not too elaborate, not too plain, just a sword meant for killing. Incidentally, I didn't like the looks of most of the TOB weapons. They seemed, I don't know, too embellished. Why couldn't they have a plain looking powerfull weapon like Pale Justice?

Not official but Kuriosan's, Sanchpuchu (however you spell it) katana is very cool looking.

@Kam

You're crazy.

But I agree with you. The plain swords just look more ... efficient.

I gotta say the plan weapons do look best. When it comes down to it, it's awsome killing someone that's incredibly powerful with something that looks like you found it in a poo hole!!

Yes, omnigodly, I agree that Lilarcor is also a slick piece of steel.

A dwarf dual wielding crom and runehammer. They both glow the same colour yet at exact opposite intervals.

The picture of the flail of ages looks more like a wind chime than a weapon of mass destruction.

And nobody can forget Xan's moonblade effect :)

IS their a way to edit Equiliser to make it more powerful and possibly give it the moon blade effect? I don't actually have the original BG anymore but I have the Xan character file downloaded from SP so maybe that would work?

The dagger that Bohdi gives you to place at the scene of the muder is pretty cool looking.
