I was wondering what are some of the bonuses you get for using the new items in TOB. I have found the circlet of Nethril, Montolios clasp, the thieves hood, bard gloves. I but the hood on Nalia but I didn't see any improvement. Also, can you recombine the two items from Ixil. The description says thery were separated but I don't get eh option from Cromwell. I presume you can combine the in ToB proper still dinking around in the Watcher's keep.

The thieve's hood does nothing unless you get Cespenar to upgrade it. Then it makes you immune to poison and backstab and you can cast truesight 3 times a day.

all these items are forgeable by cespenar

thieve's hood is rather odd--why does a thief need immunity to backstabbing? protection in the guild, I guess..

The circlet of netheril can be combined with a stone found in the old prison in saradush.. it makes a necklace that gives a mage an extra 6th and an extra 7th level spell
