i went to start up BGII, it is installed and the right disc is in there but i get a weird error


BGMain.exe - Application Error
The application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

what do i have to do to fix this?

i dont want to have to reinstall.

the weird thing is it was working fine about 2 days ago.

nvm, i just restarted my comp and it works now, though i would like to know what that error is all about.

Lucky you. I have gotten messages like that before and there was nothing that could be done except for deleting the last saved game file (I think. I'm not too sure about what it means because my sister took care of it).

i saw it and was all "crap, no, WTF, arrgghh"

then i figured id just restart the comp, it had been on for 2 straight days, and then it worked.

but id still really like to know what the rror actually is and why it happened. i tried googling it but i didnt really get any answers
