G'day

I have collected his (Ordulinian's) requested items. And yes I am sure they are the correct items not just generics. I approach/initiate conversation with Ordulinian in Sorcerous Sundries, and his only reply is a single line of closed dialogue something like "Enjoy the peaceful day" ?? I'm sorry I've read It so many times and I've just blanked the exact phrase outa my head. Anyhow I can't seem to get past that phrase, to make any sort of delivery verbal or physical.

I have arrived in BG with sickeningly heroic reputation. I figured a first ever BG jaunt would go a little easier as a goody twelveshoes group. This rep didn't stop Ordulinian from innuendoing the subquest, I'm wondering if the rep is playing havoc, or is this a spasm of some kind. Any ideas anyone?
The storekeep offers me money for them (the named items) in standard shop mode so they are definitely there and recognised by the game? engine? program? (perhaps someone would also help me here with a correct terminology pointer)
Otherwise whew!!! what a great scary game.
thanks

Do you have the BG1 NPC project installed? The same thing happened to me when I played BG1 last time (it worked fine for my first 4 or 5 games) and since the NPC project was the only new thing I had installed for that game run the problem might be related with it.

No mate
thanks for the idea
I'm reasonably certain I didn't apply any mods as I wasn't sure what order to load them re: before or after Easy TuTu. Plus apart from Easy TuTu, I wanted a reasonably vanilla first time thru BG etc.
Did you get an end result with Ordulinian? or not?

again thanks any other ideas are welcome

Hello -

Did you by any chance complete Nemphre's quest to retrieve Arkion's amulet (i.e., fetched it, and then gave it to her)? That quest and Ordulinian's are mutually exclusive.

hey Macready
yes, and then my thief stole it back.

so the quests are mutually exclusive?
OK that makes sense then, guess I'll just sell the now meaningless (to me) trinkets.

thanks for the knowledge

yep - The BG1 NPC Project does not touch these two. Cool idea about the "stealing it back", but the quests don't allow you to have your cake and eat it too - one or the other, I'm afraid.
