Well I really enjoyed improved battles mod, upto this weekend. I had improved Kiser (sorry forgot his last name) companent to toughen up that thief guy in Saradush in Contest Quest. And I was expecting a lot, considering the other imp. battles I had.
I entered his basement nervously, knowing (and hoping) it will be a hard battle! Kiser saw me, talked and turned hostile. Then...
He and his gang stood there, occasionaly yelling 'damn! where are they?' as if we were invisible. (whereas we were not) I attacked them, they did not even reteliate, just stood there completely blind. WOW! Casted a Greater Malison, then a quick Wail of the Banshee finished all of them instantly. There was also a hard mage in the back, she did not even raise her contingencies, think, a bare mage waiting to be slaughtered! What a hard fight! :nono:
Annoyed, I uninstalled the component, and loaded my game. Kiser was old himself, still an easy fight, but at least they FOUGHT.
What was the cause of this weirdness? What can I do to fix it?
I noticed that Improved Kiser component was noted 'under construction' in the readme so it was not finished and this caused them to forget their scripts? (or didn't they have one?)
