I've noticed that there are certain spells and scrolls that do nothing (for example, the MDKII scroll). Why are they in the game? Where they supposed to do something, or are they just easter eggs?

Maybe I'm just clueless, but what is the MDKII scroll, what's that stand for?

I don't know what it DOES, that's why I'm asking. ^_^ I was looking through Shadowkeeper (the scrolls, specifically) and I found that scroll, which does nothing. I also found a "Cow Spell" when looking through the spells.

I think MDK stands for "Murder Death Kill"? I don't really know, though....

The infinity engine has lots of stuff in it that doesn't appear in BG2. Some of it is left over from BG1, some is from ideas that they decided not (or didn't get time) to implement. Some is just the designer having a laugh. The MDK2 spell I think is one of those - just a laugh.
