Hi,
In the Throne of Bhaal feature list i says that a character can reach level 40 (8 million exp).
But if U read the "Dungeon MasterŽ Option: High-Level Campaigns" book it clearly says "All character advancement stops at 30th level, which represents the pinnacle of mortal achievement".

Will this mean that U can reach godhood?

And isnt 8 million exp (the same amount as in HoW) to small if U are suposed to reach level 40 because there are several classes that can only reach level 30 (mage, druid, paladin...).

I´m not sure about that - IIRC Bioware needed to "complete" the AD&D table for it´s intended goal to reach lvl-40. I guess you´d find some information about that in the news section of this board.

And as for godhood - wouldn´t it be a final perspective for a bahlspawn ;)

The cap is an experience cap not a level cap. The maximum level you can reach is class dependent, and I believe only rogues can reach level 40.

And if they're really intending to end this saga properly, you have to become a God, and seize daddy's portfolio.. and wreak havoc greater then during the Time of Troubles (or become a Mozes avant-la-lettre of course ;) ).

Indeed, you are a god and to complete the story at the end you should be like a god. So I think only the main character and Imoen can be above lvl 30, the mortals will not get that high and indeed, it depends on your class, a mage cannot get the smae level as a bard for example.
