when I try to talk some people, that woman that sells stuff in the adventurers mart, and some other random people it says that i cannot initiate dialogue because that person appears busy.....it's really very annoying. Can someone help me fix this please?

A couple of friends of mine had the same problem. And they all had an XP operating system. It's my understanding that this is a common problem with XP. My friends just kept resting off-site and kept returning till they could initiate dialog. Maybe there is a patch out there. If so, I don't know where it is. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

The official patch fixes this problem. However, it should be installed before any MODS. The Baldurdash fixpack is also worthwhile before adding MODs.

Do you have ToB installed? In which case this is a common ToB issue, fixed by the official patch, and you are posting in the wrong forum...

No, I do not have ToB so i'm not posting in the wrong forum. I have XP, so maybe i'm experiencing the problem. hmmm i guess i'll have to do what your friends did. Thanks anyway.

Rowyn I suggest you download the official patch for this here. (http://www.bioware.com/games/shadows_amn/support/patches/) I had XP before, and suffered through the same problems. Resting off-site (or reloading) only works 50% of the time.
