Where can I download this? I'm thinking about reliving the past and playing the greatest game ever: Baldur's Gate...But I'd like to play it with some of the mods. Any suggestions on where to dl the tutu?

Third and fourth down depending on whether you want easy tutu or regular tutu.

(Jeez, been here almost seven years and doesn't know that everything BG related he could want can be found here . . .)

Go for Easy Tutu. I tried both, Easy is *easier* to install and you can still play SoA and ToB with Easy tutu (whereas with regular Tutu you can no longer play SoA and ToB unless you make multiple installs).

I reccomend Easy TuTu as well, it is easier and cleaner installation. Find it here! (http://usoutpost31.com/easytutu/)

As for mods, you definitely have to use NPC project (http://www.gibberlings3.net/bg1npc/index.php) , it makes all BG1 NPCs as dialogue-and banter heavy as BG2 ones, plus there are cool romances. This is a must to have!

Grey Clan Episode 1:In Candlelight (http://www.blackwyrmlair.net/Mods/incandle.php) is an excellent mod for advanced users, there are some very cool battles, very challenging. IIRC there is a lite version with easier battles though.

And finally, Sword Coast Strategems (http://www.gibberlings3.net/scs/) , short for SCS, this mod is brilliantly done and brings about new fresh air to the game, by giving all mosnters better AI and significantly increasing the power of most bosses. There are a lot of very useful tweaks and customisations in it, I reccomend this mod for an advanced player, it ia truly a GEM! I can't imagien how dull a BG1 game will be without this one.

Hope this helps. ;)

Thirded/Fourthed; Silverstar hit the big ones, but there is alot of stuff out there that works well and adds to the Tutu experience.

There also is an install order post with a list of tested currently compatible mods for Tutu/EasyTutu over at www.gibberlings3.net (http://www.gibberlings3.net) in the General discussion area; you can use it to check to see if other players have had success or problems using a mod, and in what order they can go on a Tutu install. Just two quick reminders:

1. EasyTutu is brilliant, easy, and allows you to mod your BG2 install any way you want afterwards (even install the "Single Mod Only" mods, and play away without worrying about messing with your Tutu game. Heck, you can even delete both BG1 and BG2 installs if you are short of space). The thing to notice is that it does create that separate install directory, so if a ReadMe says "BGII - SoA" or "Your BG2 directory", check the G3 list to make sure it is compatable (if it says BG1 directory, it is *not* the compatable version) and then install it in your BaldursGateTutu directory.

2. EasyTutu prefers clean, patched unmodded BG1 and BG2 installs to build from; it comes pre-Baldurdashed and with fixes from all sorts of sources (including the Fixpack, Tutufix, etc) already included. You do not need to/should not run Badurdash, GTU, BG2_Fixpack, anything on an EasyTutu install. You can run the TutuFix if you want some additional tweaking, and the BG2_Tweaks close to the end of the install, and all will be fine!
