I just thought of something, can you use spell immunity: (whatever school time stop is) to be immune to it? Just a thought, that'd be sweet against Melissan/Improved Irenicus and the like.

Wordplay Sun, 6th Jul '03, 5:40pm I don't believe anything -short of cheating, like the comp does- can make you immune to Time Stop. Bloodtitan Mon, 7th Jul '03, 9:17am spell immunity grants you immunity to certain schools and you cannot be affected by those spells. timestop however affects the caster and not you, so there is no protection against. i think contingency and chaincontingency may still work even if time stops, try it out. Spelladonna Tue, 8th Jul '03, 12:57pm I don't believe anything -short of cheating, like the comp does- can make you immune to Time Stop. Are you sure? I seem to recall reading that if you cast spell immunity and choose Alteration (or is it Abjuration?) as the spells you want to be immune to, you are immune to time stop. i think contingency and chaincontingency may still work even if time stops...Contingencies will still fire during time stop, as long as the conditions are met; they just will not take affect until after time stop expires. Vamp FlashRam Wed, 9th Jul '03, 3:42am no, spell immunity Alteration will not make you immune to timestop. Gothmog• Wed, 9th Jul '03, 9:42am One thing i'm sure will make you immune to time stop. Focus ability from the end of ToB. Too bad you have to activate it to work. :( But it works! If you have no idea of what a focus ability is and you've completed ToB, i can only i say that i didnt finish normal ToB. I completed the game with Ascension mod and it was there. And you can still get it with Shadow keeper i suppose if you install Ascension. |
