** SEMI-SPOILER **
I thought Throne of Bhaal would've been super fun, but so far, I haven't even gotten 1 sidequest. So far I've slain the first three Bhaalspawn, Illaesa, Gromnir, and Yaga-Shura, but not even one sidequest. This takes awhile for me. The enemies are super strong. Those fire giants are ANNOYYYYINGG!!!! The new class, Wild Mage, isn't that good either. Actually Wild mage is kinda funny. This is what happened I turned on Saradush and tried to kill everything. Then I cast Magic Missile and tried on one of them militia. Suddenly it said, WILD SURGE, like always. The enemy militia turned into a woman! Hahahaha!!! That was hilarious!

What? I found about 3 sidequests in Saradush alone. I haven't got to Yaga-Shura yet as I'm doing Watcher's Keep first, but so far the game has been well worth it.

Check the walkthrough on this site for both SOA and TOB as it lists all the side quests.

What's the 'Traitor at the Gates ' quest as I thought I had completed them all and it's not mentioned in the walkthrough ?

Did anyone kill a giant from the castle wall ? Too much waiting around for me to do that one.

1) The Lazarus spellbook sidequest can be initiated by visiting his spell shop just above the Tavern in Saradush

2) The Traitor at the Gates side quest can be initiated by entering the Militia headquarters right next to where you start in Saradush

3) The bronze Ioun stone quest starts in the Prison with the Vampires... (hint, the grave requires a skull and a rusty amulet, he would also love some elven holy water...)

There's also the optional barracks and sewer area. Some easy experience no doubt.

Oh yeah and you can help those elves in the street by finding them a place to stay...

One goofing around thing you can do is go to the Tankard Tree at night and talk to the "Courtesan" and prepare for a treat.

And don't forget talking to Volo, that's fun.

ToB is great. I think it is the best expansion possible.

No side quest? What is Watchers Keep? It is not germaine to the story line, so it is a side quest (or quests).

TOB is awesome. I finished it last night.
BG2 + TOB = One of the best CRPG's ever.

I have to agree, I really enjoy ToB and I am looking forward to starting a new game over and over again!

Here! Here!
It's good to hear something positive. I'm always shocked and mortified when I hear somebody say something like "I expected more" or "I wasn't impressed" or even "this game sux!". (not saying any of those were said here) ;)

But I think to myself, my God! What does it take to make these people happy? This is by far the best CRPG I have ever seen. And I've played just aboout all of 'em.

I guess it's just the fact that the kids of today are spoiled. They didn't grow up with the pathetic excuses for CRPGs we did. (Anybody remember the Comodore 64?) And I'm not say those were bad, I love them, in their time. But today they would be pure garbage compared to the likes of BG, BG2, IWD, etc, etc..

Anyway, that's my rant for the day. hehe
