Hi

Im having much trouble with yaga shura. Ive followed the story line and brought his heart to the witch. When i go to beat him I get the message that i need to defeat him quickly or his army will overwhelm me. But each time ive tried to fight him he continues to have the green magic globes circling his body. Nothing seems to work to damage him. Ive tried normal weapons and +1 to +5 weapons and all offensive spells both priest and wizard. None of the dispells seem to work. Hes immune to everything. The last fight that I had with him i killed over 40 of his men and had a char with the +5 axe beat on him for over seven minutes straight. Nothing is working. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Ive also done a search on this website for help and have tried the things they mentioned. i.e. porting back to pocket plane after defeating the witch and it did not work.

Please help.

I presume you have killed the witch/his mother?

Did you bring her own heart back to her?

Yes I returned both his heart and the witches heart to the witch. I killed her. My journal says that i need to go to his camp next.

During my last fight I killed every spawning mob until no more spawned. During that time i let minsc beat on yaga shura. I moved yaga shura all over the map thinking he needed to be in a special spot to be damaged. Lastly I pulled him to the bridge and let all my characters beat on him for 21 minutes (yes I timed this with a stopwatch)using normal weapons and enchanted weapons +1 to +5. I used every offensive spell that I could cast. Nothing does damage to him.
Sigh.

There are many ways to kill Yaga-Shura... be he invincible or not. One way to kill him while he's in invincible mode is to turn one of your mages into a mindflayer via the Shapechange spell (There's one scroll at the Arcanna Archives), do a timestop and attack him with your shapechanged mage while he's frozen in time.

That's a pretty cool way of beating on Yaga, Infarateo! Did you discover that one yourself???

Regarding Anectine's dilemma, I am lost as to how that happened. It seems you have done everything right.

I don't know if this is the case here. But I expierienced a bug, as I had to get and deliver the hearts.
What I did, was get back to an older save, before I had the hearts. Than I just played on and this time it worked, I delivered the hearts and kill Yaga.
I suggest you get back to an older save and repeat the part, where you have to get the hearts.

I seem to remember reading that Yaga doesn't have immunity to level draining so if you've got a few weapons that do that sort of thing, hit him with them a few times and that should kill him outright.

Thanks for the suggestion yall. Luckily I had a saved game before this area and I ran through the whole witch/hearts/yaga-shura event again. It seems that before he was not engaging in his entire conversation. That must have been the problem because just a short while ago I went in and gave him some "brotherly" love.
