After killing the lich in the lower tombs, aren´t you supposed to receive something, like the Nether Scroll? Edwin babbles on about it (Who is babbling, monkey?), but it does not appear in his or any inventory or on the lich´s corpse. Is this item for Edwin only, meaning that he actually gets it, but you cannot see it in his inventory?(These monkeys will never think of searching my underwear. It is mine!!!)

Well, lets just say Eddy keeps it for himself. It affects the plot, but its not something you can actively use within the game. Edwin'll let you know of any developments :D

Right. I just thought something was supposed to appear in his inventory. I know what happens later on, I just never played a party with Edwin in it, thus I wondered. Can you even say that? "thus I wondered."

And how long he will be female? Is there any possibility that he will stay female forever(bug)?

Just finished SoA with Edwin for the first time. This is now one of my favorite quests. Laugh just thinking about it. Don't want to post a spoiler so I'll just say that it took a long time. I don't know if it is based on real time or game play.

well i think that if you kill him just a little bit before the guy who turns him back to normal he might just stay female,this thing happened to me in underdark when adalon turns you to drow aerie died and i hadnt ressurected her when adalon undid the spell so she remained drow, so did jaheira who left my party cause i had forgotten to go to the harper hq the third time that i was supposed to go try it might work :D

IIRC she (he) should be turned back to a man after 3 weeks or so (game time?).By almost finished SoA Jathszu you mean what?For instance I found the Nether Scroll in chapter 3 and went for Imoen so right after I emerged out of the Underdark the wizard showed up and turned her (him) back into a man.

Edit: Almost forgot...the wizard shows up then disappears after asking about Edwin and after 2 or 3 days returns knowing that Ewdina IS Edwin :)

I found the Nether Scroll in chapter 2 and in the same chapter the wizard showed up first time.

But it was the last time. I don't no why.
In the battle with Irenicus before The Nine Hells he was still a female, and in The Nine Hells he was male again(nobody showed up to turn him back into a male, he just was).

If being in Hell wouldn't revert him nothing would.

I'm having odd voice problems with Edwin. He's back to his old male cranky self, but half the time it's the female voice I hear. It's actually pretty funny, I'm just under the distinct impression that's not supposed to be happening.

@Niskers: It's a bug with Edwin's quest. If you do a search on the boards, you'll find more details on it. If you have SOA only, you can fix this by installing the Baldurdash component. If you have TOB installed, then there's nothing you can do.

where can i download the baldurdash component?(i had the same problem)
