Is it possible, through a combination of items, innate stats and cunning, to achieve 25 in all six stats? Not tempoarily either, this has to be permanent. I'm assuming the charname rolled 18 for all of the stats, got every book in BG1 and used the machine to get a total of 20 in everything, base. Any ideas how to finish off?

Apart from cheating or re-importing the character and repeatedly getting the books in BG1 or the machine of Lum the Mad (which isn't technically cheating in my mind but certainly is cheesy) I really don't think so. Strength and wisdom can be permanently boosted to 25 but as far as I know that is it.

You can use the wand of terror (or whatever it is called from the lich in the gate district) and ring of human influence to get 25 charisma. :)

@ Scythe - In my mind that is just exploiting a bug in the software - i.e. cheating. :rolleyes:

And you can use Crom Faeyr to get 25 in Str. And IIRC, Chloe (the female kensai comes with 25 in Dexterity).

You could do the Rod of Terror trick to get your CHA to 25, but that still leaves CON, INT and WIS.

DUHM and Potions of Genius, Insight come to mind, but you want it to be permanent.

The 25 in char is a cheat but you are not going to get near 25 in each stat without stuff like this.

Also there are 2 more wis points in the BG1 and ToSC.

Not sure what the best hell trial route is though...

One question...WHY would you want 25 in all stats? Your Mage isn't going to need 25 Con, neither is your fighter going to need 25 Int...

If you go the good route in the hell trials you end up at +1 wisdom +1 charisma -1 dexterity. Going the evil route I believe that it is +2 strength and +2 constitution.

I believe that you need the +1 wisdom if you want to hit a permanent 25. Wisdom 18 +3 books +1 machine +1 Deck of Many things +1 Hell trials +1 Ioun stone = 25 permanently.

Hm, now that I think about it, if you play an evil dwarf you should be able to hit a permanent 25 CON. 19 + 1 book + 1 machine +2 hell trials + 1 Axe of Unyielding + 1 Ioun Stone.

well lets look at this objectively.
What helms add to stats? None, as i remember
Armour? There is plate of balduran, for cha i think
Rings? cleric symbols give +1Str
Weapons? Crom gives the 25 Str, theres a few for charisma too
Shield? there's one for dex i think...

Deck gives one to a stat...

hell gievs +2 con and either +2 str or +1 wis and cha...
thats all i can think of.

IIRC in BG you get books which give you +1 to each respective stat. With TotSC you will find 3 books for Wis.

Getting 25 Str and Char is very easy, with just items. For the others though it will not be possible to do it without going through the entire game (atleast BG1) more than once.

What helms add to stats? None, as i remember Actually there are varied Ioun stones that increase abilities +1. I don't remember there being a strength one but I believe there is one for the other five stats.

We don't need Str or Cha then, thanks to crom and the rod of terror. Isn't there a soulstone that adds something?

@faraaz- the reason i want these stats is to prove i can. And, also because i'm playing a FMT.

Best hell route is half evil, half good. Evil for +2 con and good for +1 wis, but -1 dex. Or you could do the trick with the contingency, and not lose the dex...
I have numerous item mods and improved hell trials installed, so i might be able to do it another way.
