Hi,
I'm wondering why my strength has increased by 2 after having completed SOA. I thought those stat increases were temporary, because a) my natural strength of 20 went to a red 22, and b) the final save from which ToB imported my party, is *before* you put the tears in the door in Hell. But if it's not temporary, why didn't they just increase my natural strength to 22 instead of augmenting it.
Cheers,
Aliminataur.

Your natural strength of 20?
Well, when fighting sarevok in hell, if you do the wrath test the evil way (you say will turn to slayer and kill him) you get +1 permanent strength (if you are a fighter) and +2 on-top strength (for the tear). The 2 strength points will always jump ontop if you have any modifiers.

Crom (STR 25) + Wrath (STR +2) = STR 27! Impossible?

I'd say impossible. Crom Faeyr SETS your Strength to 25 when you wield it, it doesn't give you a certain bonus that can be added to AFAIK.
Besides, I think 25 is the maximum attainable score in any stat.

As BTA said, 25 is the max. You can't get higher because neither the rules nor the game allow it. (Not even if you cheat.)

With one exception, I believe. I am unsure of this, but I believe drizzt's dex to be set to 26.

Nope. Looking with infinity explorer, Drizzt's dexterity is only 20.

If I remeber correctly, the only person in AD&D who's got higher than 25 strenght is the Norse god Thor, since he's got 25+ while wearing his belt of strenght. Could be wrong though...
