Nice character.

You mention Baldur's Gate here in BG2 ToB forum as well as a KIT, so I suppose you mean BG2 ToB. In this case, you gained the 25 wisdom via the Carston the Magnificent's machine... you must have played the game a lot of times. :D

I think he is importing his character from BG1 who completed the game many times getting all those wisdom tomes.

Hmmm... What would be the maximum wisdom one could have? If you played through BG1, TotSC, BG2, and ToB, you could get:

2 points of wisdom in BG1
1 point of wisdom in TotSC
1 point of wisdom in the BG2
1 point of wisdom in ToB

That's 23 altogether. So while I agree he had to play though everything at least twice, it makes me wonder why his other statistics aren't much higher. He has 96 total, which is high but certainly far from unattainable (excepting the 25 wisdom of course).

Well, max wis = 24, 18+3 (bg1+exp) +1 (watcher's keep) +1 (hell) +1 (d of many things)
In TOB you can buy a stone that gives +1 wis.

Ah yes, the deck of many things. Getting +1 to a statistic however is a very rare option IIRC. I think it's only possible on one of the three draws, as opposed to some results that can happen on two or even all three draws. (Obviously, you can only get each card once, but there are only a few possible cards that can be drawn on any individual attempt, and after the first card, the result you get on subsequent draws is affect by the previous draws.)

Exactly. The easiest way to get it (though it does feel a bit cheesy) is to use immunity: abjuration, get Donjon on first draw, and then reload the second draw till PC gets "Star". Wis works only for clerics\druids, but 24 wis cleric is much better than 18 one :)

So how many extra spells do you get from that hefty wisdom bonus?

In TOB you can buy a stone that gives +1 wis. Yep, 24 it is.

Bonus spells at 24 wisdom:
1st level + 3 (1 at 13,14,19)
2nd level + 3 (1 at 15,16,20)
3rd level + 2 (1 at 17,21)
4th level + 4 (1 at 18,19,20,22)
5th level + 4 (1 at 21,22) (2 at 23)
6th level + 2 (2 at 24)

At 25 the bonus is + 2 level 7 spells.

So the bonus is pretty useless then. Who needs to be able to cast so many extra low level spells? Even 5th and 6th level spell slots are numerous enough at 18 to get by with.

Wisdom that high is more useful in 3rd edition rules where it impacts the power of the cleric spell as well as the number of spells available to cast.

He-he, it makes a difference when you can cast Chaotic commands on the whole party early in the game, or cast Free Action + Defensive Harmony + Prot. from Evil 10f, and cast Draw upon hloy might at EACH battle (easily gives you 24-25 str) ;)

Bah, how long does it take to cast Chaotic Commands on your whole party? Ages. The first one would probably start running out by the time you finished casting the last one. And I would never have the patience to cast Free Action + Defensive Harmony + Protection from Evil + Draw Upon Holy Might. The game takes long enough as it is without going through all that bother. Maybe one of those buffs, but not all four.

Though chaotic command lasts really long (1 turns / lv ?), I definitely don't want to cast it 6 times (even if I have 600 copies of it, what if some loser casts a dispel ? wah >___>)

It depends on the person, I guess. I always cast 6 chaotic commands at Mind Flayers', Sendai Enclave, Underdark (two times) and Watcher's Keep (though dead magic zones are a pain). Before a major battle (Dragon, for example) it's a must for me.
