This Purifier I suddenly noticed in a topic, is it part of a mod? Never heard of it.

It's a bastard sword for paladins that can be found in Watcher's Keep.

It's a mini-Carsomyr. It starts as a +4 Holy Avenger and can be upgraded to +5 (if you don't want to upgrade Carsomyr to +6). It can be dual-wielded with Foebane -- quite a combination.

The +5 version:

30% Magic Resistance
Cast Dispel Magic twice per day
Cast Mass Cure once per day
Additional +5 damage versus CE

It has to be gotten in a particular spot by approaching a stone in the watchers keep maze of rooms floor with a good character with high strength as I recall. It's not one that I pick up often.

So, not part of a mod then?

No, part of ToB.

***SPOILER***You have to have a Lawful Good character click on one of the pillars three times in the maze portion.

Hmm. I didnīt know, and I thought I found all items around in the unmodded game by now. Well, whaddya know, seems like I hadnīt anyway.
Hmm... I think Iīll give it a go sometime. Shouldnīt be a problem beating the game without Carsomyr +6. Hell, not like I havenīt done so before.
Anyone know more about about the stats to get it? omnigodly, you said Awful, sorry, LAWFUL Good alignment, and what Strength again?

I don't remember. But just keep Crom Faeyr and wield it if necessary. Save a little before. the different guides will tell you how to find it.

The Purifier is Meant to be a paladin-sword, yet it could be obtained&used easily without having any Paladins in group. I usually use Aerie to take out the sword of the column and after that is it Haer'dalis that uses the sword.
