This may not sound important to some but I am just curious.

There are not much clerical spell scrolls in BG2. I remember finding cure medium wounds scrolls on the altar of the forgotten god in sewers, (SPOILER: maybe it is bacause there is the Manifestation there that can only be killed by healing?) and occasionaly from hobgoblin shamans. WHY nobody sells them? Some temples sell Neutralize Poison(1-2)and occasionaly Raise Dead but that's all. BUT in IWD, one can buy clerical scrolls from temples easily and in huge amounts, whereas in uber BG2 one can not ever hope to do so. Why? Is it forbidden to sell holy scrolls in the South (Amn and the like)whereas it is legal in cold and frozen north?

I checked SK and saw lots of clerical scrolls. Why nobody put them in the game? I know clerics can write those scrolls with HLAs but it still makes no sense to me that one can find tons of mage srolls (hundreds)but only a few cleric scrolls through the whole game. Is there a point to this?

Say, how can I add clerical scrolls to shops? Is there a mod to do this or edit shopkeeper's inventory?

As for clerical scrolls not sold in shops, I think it's because clerics (and druids) know all their spells (unlike mages). If you can get to a temple, you don't need to buy the scroll; you can just get healed there (for a fee, of course). How do clerics get a HLA to scribe scrolls?

^OH I do not know, I have so many mods that one gives clerics to scribe clerical scrolls HLA (flamestrike, cure critical wounds, raise dead etc.) , brew healing potions, and mages to scribe mage scrolls (better than thief HLA) and mage potions (those defensive potions and explosive potions) It is a good thing, as after some level mages stop gaining HLAs, now they can always pick scroll scribing or potion brewing. :thumb:

I know that if one can get to a temple, he can pay to heal, but if only we could buy some scrolls for extra healing spells when needed, scrolls are a luxury for casters, and in IWD my cleric always has tons of healing scrolls, just in case. Too bad there are nearly none in BG2? :cry:
