What do I do about stronghlds I don't want?

1)I hate the Thief one. Can I lose it somehow?
2)I have a problem with the Druid one:
a) I had no idea it would be my character (a non-druid) competing against Faldorn
b) After beating her, I was told I could take control of the grove after becoming a high druid (or something like that). Will this ever happen for a F/M/T?

You get an option to not accept the strongholds. I use this a lot especially with the thieves stonghold. I have only ever gotten the druid stonghold hld once while playing with this mod and I took control of it at level 12 with a fighter.

Can you lose the thief stronghold? Of course. Just leave it alone and it'll go to pot. Pretty much any stronghold will just go away if you ignore it, whether by becoming not yours or just sitting in a static happy state.

Taking control of the Grove happens at a level 14, but it's possible they may have removed the level requirement in addition to the class requirement. Try just talking to them again and see what happens.

the level and class requirement i think has been removed, i recall with the the component installed after doing the initial druid grove related quests, you know having a druis challenge faldorn, to finish that trademeet quest.

i challenged whats his/hers face without sleeping in the grove to activate the druid stronghold quests, i just walked up and talked to the guy/girl and found myslef in the pit, killed them then was made a greater druid or whatever, and i hadnt even done the stronghold quests.

could have been a clitch though, im not sure i always to the stronghold quests first now.

Is there a MOD somewhere that would allow NPCs to get the strongholds the PC cannot have?

The NPC Strongholds (http://www.gibberlings3.net/npcstronghold/) mod is in progress over at G3 and aims to do just that.

The level requirements for the druid challenges are unchanged by the component. For multi-classes, I believe this checks against the first class listed (fighter), so you're probably not going to be able to obtain the title as a f/m/t (level 14 fighter in this combo takes ~4.5M XP). The title is purely cosmetic anyway (well, OK, it comes with some items and XP) and won't affect the stronghold quests.

I would like to see NPC strongholds mod too! :thumb: But I guess it will conflict with Multiple Strongholds component, aye? :mommy:
