I would recommend using Tutu instead of BGT - it is a smaller download, and in my opinion a better translation of the BG1 portion of the game. Plus it has better mods designed specifically for it. http://www.pocketplane.net/tutu

But does tutu allow you to take your BG1 party into BG2?
And i wish to play BG as one game.

No, it doesn't. I don't think BGT allows you to keep all your NPCs either, though.
