Can anybody explain what the error message means when using the IEEP:


"Permission denied at Dialogue_Write.12."

This is preventing me from saving all my work and if there is something wrong with an item i've created, it makes editing a nightmare.

Also, I created an uber item and would like to know what is causing the game to crash if anybody has any insight. Its based on the Shadow Dragon armour so its colours are the same.

Black dragon Armour

AC 0
Immune to backstab
Can cast spells
50% Acid res
50% poison res
Can cast spell trap twice a day (copied from the Staff of the Magi)

I have no idea what is causing the game to crash when it is equiped. testing is hard because of the above problem... and i want this armour :(

Have you asked Baronius? I hear he is skilled at these sorts of things.

Because IEEP is buggy as all hell.

Use NI or DLTCEP to make the item. Also, do you have the game, SK, or any other editor running?

Close Shadowkeeper, the game, or whatever else you've got open that's using the TLK file.
