I am starting a new game and importing my characters from BG1. I have a dwarven fighter that I'm importing, and for some reason it won't let me make him a berserker. I can choose the other two fighter kits, just not berserker. But if I create a new dwarven fighter, I can make him a berserker. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if I'm missing some reason why this shouldn't work?

The only reason I can think of is that perhaps his stats doesn't match up to that of a berserker's...

Berserkers are restricted from Lawful alignments.

That was the problem alright. Thanks, CamDawg. He was LG in BG1. A quick use of an editor though, and now he is CG and I have the dwarven berserker I want. It makes sense, but I rechecked the manual and couldn't find this alignment restriction listed anywhere.
