I've just read a disconcerting fact about the romances - if your romancee is turned to stone or resurrected the romance is cancelled! I've had Jaheira and Aerie petrified several times, and they've been resurrected more times than john travolta's career! Does this mean i've got no chance of any luurve?!? Is there any way to carry on once you're lady friend has been "stoned"? It was ages ago and there's no chance of restarting the game now...

No idea. I think I had the same with Viconia. I did not think that petrificiation had been the reason, but after I read your post, I realised that it must have been the problem. There might a fix for it or something, but unfortunately I have not met anything such yet.

I believe all you'll need to do is reset the global value to reactivate the romance. Use the console command:

SetGlobal("JaheiraRomance","GLOBAL",1)

The lovetalks 'should' pick up where they left off if you do this.

You don't need to bother with the console. Aerie will still romance if she's been stoned (unless you left her like that for a while). Jaheira won't, but then her romance is buggy as all hell anyway.

I think I've also read somewhere that letting a partner become petrified is not a good idea. I usually just reload anyway - saves hassles.

I usually reload as well.

The petrification kills romance bug was fixed with ToB, hence the reason why I didn't mention it.
