Well, me and some friends were having a debate the other day and i thought it would be best to get the oppinion of other true players on this, anyway, our debate was: Who Is more insane- Cespenar, or Minsc? consider this: Minsc talks to a miniature giant space hampster while Cespenar is obsessed with shiny ones and looking through your stuff. And feel free to list your favourite wacky minsc and cespenar sayings if you like.

But Minsc? IMO the craziest, nuttiest funniest character in the whole game. Hands down.

Now look here! Tiax is not mad! Tiax Rules! just because we have not yet seen his mighty prophetic vision of total world domination come to fruition does not mean he is crazy.

And Minsc!? What is so crazy about Minsc? He butt-kicks for goodness! and the Hamster is a MINATURE giant space hamster, so obviously there will be little difference between a regular space hamster, which we all know look identical to terranic-bound hamsters due to their shape-shifting abilities.

When it comes to silly lines, Minsc takes the cake. But for pure, dangerous lunacy, I have to go with Korgan -- he's not "funny" crazy, he's "scare the crap out of a person" crazy.

The best reason to have Minsc in your party, period.

Jan is the craziest. I mentioned in another thread that Jan calls Sarevok "Binky".... You don't get crazier than that!

Who and where is Tiax. Cespenar has a reson to be insane his only job is to make some stuff for you the odd time and it does not take long. What does he do all day, only thing to do is clean. I would go insane being in there day after day.

Tiax is found in BG1, he is gnome, and quite mad, he is certain that he is fated to rule the world, and therefore, that everyone might as well start worshipping him now. I think he's an illusionist/thief, and chaotic evil, but this may be incorrect. I believe you either find him at the gate to the city, or somewhere within.

Minsc is insane. Tiax is simply deluded. Cespanar is just obsessed.

Oh, Tiax is more than deluded, he is one worked little psycho. He's a cleric/thief, IIRC. Weird combo if you ask me -- logically speaking, how does one backstab with a club or quarterstaff?

It's not like stealthily smashing someone in the back of the head (or spine, if you're Tiax) with a club wouldn't severely hamper their fighting abilities.

Indeed, in most thief situations a good blackjacking would be excellent.

Minsc is not crazy, just a little strange.
Have you never considered the possibility that Boo really is a miniature giant space hamster and that Minsc is just the only only who can understand him. Being a ranger he has mastered the skill of speaking hamster...

But hey, who wouldn't be a lunatic after spending a decade/century alone with demons in a maze? Sure I am after 2-3 hours, repeatedly cast spells= Quick Save/Quick Load.. The power is in my hand.. BWHAHAHAAAaaa... Sry, got a bit carried away in:)

I think jan is the looniest, cespenar's voice is the funniest, minsc is hilarious in personality, but tiax is the craziest by far

what about Habib Khalid Achmed Allafif, the guy who attacks you by throwing his scimitar at you (not a major character, actually not even a minor character, just some weird guy in the street)

he might not be as defective as tiax and the others but still...

For that matter, Kruin the Gith wild mage is fairly bonkers.
