Edwin is doing me a hard time .
he is whining about his nether scrolls when i enter the graveyard but when when i'm near the leech's tomb , nothing happens , he just doesnt want to wake up from his beauty sleep.
Now that is a problem coz i promised edwin we'll have a good time together , trying on make up and all the kind.
i've tried everything - installing the patch , giving edwin the scroll via ShadowKeeper (shhhh!) , changing values via ShadowKeeper (did u hear something ?) , but nothing seems to impress the sleeping beauty (the leech , i mean , although edwin is quite a stud himself , with all of that piercing ****.)
Help is needed and will be appreciated.

Anyway, the tomb has nothing to do with the quest, find the lich standing around. Then get Edwin close enough to see him, and that should initiate the dialogue. Otherwise, you might want to talk to the lich. Oh, and he's not as touch as a normal lich.

The lich should be standing in western part of catacombs where you were supposed to find a Book of Kaza for Korgan. The exact spot is where rocks felt on some sarcophagus.

IIRC it was in the eastern part of the dungeon/tomb the lich was in.

do you need to accept Korgan's quest in order for the Lich to appear?

no, you can do it without korgan IIRC.

I know where the leech is suppose to be , but he just isnt there , and i've finished korgan's quest.

Extermist : do u know nevezia the leech code.

lokken gave me the idea to manually insert him in the game.
i think that might work, but i cant find the code.

Pal, the only thing you can do with :-x util is to bust your game more. Don't even test it's "special" abilities for god's sake!
My point is that I actually CAN NOT mend every single saved game that was busted with :-X util. I dare to suspect that even Black Isle wouldn't be able to do that too.
And beware of those unofficial "fixes". Some of them are jewels, but some of them are pieces of crap if you ask me.

Ok, I'll cut this crap, and get down to business...

0. You don't need to finish Korgan's quest before this one - I just mentioned it to point the location where lich should be.

1. Enable the console (instructions are in "Power Users.txt" file in BG2 main filder), start the game and go to the place lich is supposed to be (press X on the keyboard, you should see numbers near these: x=2060, y=1360, AR0802).

2. Open console with CTRL+SPACE and type this command:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("NEVAZIAH")

3. Order Edwin's butt to talk to him.


P.S. The exact problem might be in global variables, not in lich. When you kill him, Edwin should start the talk about Nether scroll. Please post if this happens! If Edwin don't start to talk about it, you'll have to use another method and I'll post it.

What is this :-X thing anyway? Looks like a smiley but I doubt it is one...

*interesrting fact - i've created nevaziah in the bridge district , and whacked him there. nothing happened.
then i transfered the group to area AR0802 (southern lower tombs , where the leech should have been.) and only then edwin took control of the scroll.
