Hmm, just ran into something strange. I am playing a solo assassin, and got the thieve's guild stronghold, which is fine. But just now I also got the bard's stronghold (playhouse), which is quite bizarre. Here's how it happened:
<possible spoilers>
After cutting Haer'Dalis loose from Mekrath's tower, I returned to the playhouse with the gem. I gave up the gem (after I squeezed 1200 gold out of them :evil: ), and when they asked for my assistance to kill the extra-planar creatures, I forced them to give me another 1000 gold, and give it up front. After the fight, the guy came to take them off to the prison. I double crossed them, and said "I'm not with these people" or something like that. The portal sealed up (for good) and Samuel Thunderburp came and asked where they went. Then, he asked if I had the deed to the playhouse. My only options were to basically say yes (even though I didn't have it). I somehow gave him this deed, and now I am running the playhouse.
Anyone ever heard of this? It's no big deal for my current game, but it seems like a scripting error of sorts that should be fixed up.
