Is this a bug or something? I'm playing ToB and my stalker doesn't have his backstab ability!! No it's not wrong weapons or armor so don't post that. There is no backstab modifier listed in the character information screen and i can't backstab!! :mad: :mad:

And yes i am still a stalker, not fallen.

This is a bug that BioWare know about, and will be fixing it in the patch (not the beta one that has been released). Unfortunately, as the patch will not affect saves before the patch is installed, you will most likely have to start ToB again with your party. There is a similar bug with the assassin. If you start a new game with an assassin or stalker, then this bug does not occur. The patch should be out fairly soonish.

Actually it seems to be affecting more people than that, my own fighter/thief/mage lost his backstab modifier as well :(

Furthermore, he cannot seem to learn mage high level abilites; they do not show in his abilities list when he level up.

Quite unfortunate that the final version shipped with those bugs, and if what you mentioned about the patch not working on previously saved game, im afraid that means we are all screwed up :) Thanks for the information though.
