I'm making a kit for BG2 for my self - mainly by trial and error - and i was wondering if it's possible to make a bard able to use druid-specific items (its a druid/bard kit)?

Not too sure. I was thinking of creating some Celtic Warrior kits and wondered if I could impliment a ranger type character that can use spears one handed and shields.

I am just investigating the mods that allow character creation.

Non-standard item restrictions are the most difficult (if not imposible) thing to implement and most likely to cause incompatibilities in kit making. As for combining druid/bard usabilities, I would say probably not.
