SO what do you think about the CHORISTER bardic kit offered by SONG&SILENCE? It can cast some clerical spells as mage spells. (like cure wounds, etc.) it sounds cool to me as I like casting both mage and priest spells.

Do you think it is balanced? Have you ever tried it? What can you advice about it to be powerful? (items/HLAs any combos?) (I am unfamiliar to the ways of bards though I like them)

Thanks all in advance

I made that so thought I'd comment. :)

The intention was originally to create something more similar to the 3E bard - more defensive and non-damaging spells. I find it works quite well when you use ranged weapons; you can stay away from the fight and use your protective and healing spells when they are needed. I tend to use Choristers as multitasking support characters. Not fighting on the front line, but using their different abilities where most useful.

I believe it is balanced - you gain some spells (a couple from levels 1-6) but lose access to some of the more damage-based Mage ones, so it is a fair trade.

Sounds intruguing, I might just try it! And I know bardic HLAs just rock!

Still, I am used to have a really killer offensive PC (who always has %50+ of kills) so trying a more defensive, support character may be an enjoyable change for me?

Anyway, thanks for making such good mods! Keep up the good work!
