Not. I dislike Edwin also. Hooray, I am super-divergent from everyone else here!

Hmm...her personality may seem abrasive at times, as would Edwin's I suppose...but for any powergamer, they are a dream come true.

Edwin is the best Arcane caster in the game, barring PCs and Viconia is the most powerful pure divine caster, period!

Of course, the downside is they can be well...evil...which I don't think is a bad thing at all!! :D

My evil Assassin, Edwin, Korgan, Viconia together, can destroy anything and everything the game can throw at me! :D

Sarevok is a way better character than Viconia.

Viconia is cool but a pure class cleric seems a waste, given the way the game mechanics work.

Viconia IS the best NPC available. She makes biting remarks, she's got a strong personality, and once equipped with Crom Faeyr and belt of fortitude, no weaknesses. Until then, Holy Power or belt of giant strength nullifies her weaknesses. When you get to Throne of Bhaal, being single class make her go through levels twice as fast (until then, multi-class would seem better).

@Faraaz, you got my dream team. Mine was F/T, Korgan, Edwin, Vicky, Sarevok and Jan just because I think he's fun. That was the most fun game ever!

Based purely on power, Anomen kicks Viconia. He'll only ever be 1 or 2 cleric levels behind her (which makes next to no difference the higher you go) but he has more attacks, better THACO, and more hit points.

I agree with Mr Boy, Anomen is a far superior cleric, and he gets to be a knight (go go lawful good). Also, I have never found him to be a particularly annoying character, yes, he is arrogant, and boastful, but he becomes much better post-knighthood.

Viconia is super. Anomen is more powerful than her, but in a roleplaying sense, she adds much to the story, both with her romance and the Underdark sequence.

(um....and shadowkeepered Skald Imoen :D )

I heard Assasin+Rim staff rules (which I played and dissapointed), but, the most powerful member in this party is Vicy!!! :banana:

Viconia's a great character to have along; shameless whore, granted, but fun :D A must for evil parties, and even good ones have to consider her. Whether you prefer Anomen or not depends on whether you prefer to buff your spellcasters & send them into the fray or just hang back & cast. Or if you're :holy: or :evil:

Casting spells? What does that do? Everyone knows that the best technique is to draw your swords/ maces etc and race forwards screaming.
