I recently tried to install BGtutu as some of you may know, and I can safely say it failed. So I uninstalled it removed any traces of it from my computer and now I can't get BG1, 2, or ToB to work.

I tried uninstalling them then reinstalling them but when I start a new game they just crash and I don't even get a message telling me the problem! :(

Help me please... :(

Uninstall them. Go to the dir you installed them at and delete any files that the uninstall process missed.

Go to Start - Run and type 'regedit'.

Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (I think it's called) and open then SOFTWARE dir. Scroll down and delete any Bioware folders that are there.

Then re-install them, patch them up and try playing them again.

If that doesn't fix it, come back and we'll see what we can do.

Why did you not like Tutu?

Incedibly, I don't have enough disk space on a 160 gig HD to do a full install of BG1 so I can't run this program or I would really like to try it out. It seems to me that i need about 250 gig just to install all of BG1. I didn't remember it every being so big.

Neither could I. I'd recommend anyone who likes user-friendly progs a massive wide berth.

I'm sure it's ace. But it only works in certain instances. The forums are plagued with moans about installation problems.

BG1 is about 2.5gig I think, full install.

160gb Drive thats full? You must have an awful lot of clutter on there mate!! I'm sure you can create room! It's worth it! :D :D
