Here is a new BG1 adventure with Tutu and Vault installed.
I intend to export the main character into BG2/ToB and complete that adventure as well.
One of the interesting things about Tutu, as I understand it is that proficiencies, spell books, etc follow you into BG2.
In this game, I use SK to edit certain things and I give RP reasons for the edits.
I invite comments.
The protagonist is a half-elvish multiclass fighter/mage of chaotic good alignment. Starting proficiencies are two stars in axes and two stars in flails. I equip a large shield, battle axe and a stack of throwing axes. I will buy the +1 axe in Bergost early because I am easily annoyed by weapon breakage. Restocking throwing axes is a pain though and I will be eager for the magical one that returns after throwing. Future proficiencies will be placed into dual wielding.
I pick up Imoen as the party thief. I train her lockpick and find/removepretty much equally. Naturally, Imoen is proficient with short bows and daggers.
For a steathy scout, I pick up Kivan (kitted as archer) who has one star in halberd, one star in mace and two stars in longbows. I SK Kivan's proficiencies to be one star in 2H sword, one star in 2-handed weapon fighting style and leave the two stars in longbow of course. Kivan's next proficiency will be the second star in 2-handed weapon fighting style and all other gains will go into longbows. I think Tutu has the BG2 stats for weapon specialization/mastery.
I add Jaheira and Khalid.
Jaheria starts with two stars in clubs and two stars in slings. In BG1, Jaheria has a much lower dexterity than in BG2 so I will eventually need to give Jaheira the dexterity gloves. Jaheria will fight with a club and shield equipped for the duration, although I am tempted to switch the proficiencies to staff and 2-handed weapon fighting style, since this is how I prefer to use her in BG2 and continuity is kinda important.
As for Khalid, I have selected the berserker kit which at first look seems totally contradictory to his nature, but in my game Khalid is struggling with his mental health. Under his his quiet, contemplative, slightly repressed demeanor, Khalid has feelings of anger and resentment. This passive/aggressive personality has manifested itself in the fact that he chose a warrior's lifestyle in the first place, but more than this....inside Khalid lurks THE RAGE. Frankly, this is what turned Jaheira on in the first place....you don't think she would have hooked up with a doormat do you? Anyway, I use SK to change Khalid's two stars in bastard swords to longswords.
I add Viconia the drow cleric. I use SK to change Viconia's alignment to CN. Viconia's sojourns among the surfacers has caused her to realize that there are benefits to adopting some of the ways of the surface communities. She is very much concerned with her own survival and she has come to understand that it is sometimes needed to rely on others and for others to rely on her....and in this requires trust. I confess that I don't know enough about the deities of Faerun to understand how this would affect her choice of Shar, so in my adventure...Shar has CN worshippers. I invite comments.
