The mod is updated to v4.1

No new content is added to the mod, just some fixes are applied.

If you had already started a new game with IA v4, you won't need to start a new game after installing IA v4.1

The mod is updated to v4.2

Use the same links above. No need to start a new game if you were playing IA v4.1 (or even v4).

Sounds pretty awesome Sikret. I think I'm gearing up for another BG2 runthrough soon, and am very much looking forward to trying your mod for the first time.

I'm most excited about the randomization of key items. All of the sudden I think I'll want to check every nook and cranny of the game again (like I did when I was new to it) to make sure I don't miss anything!

I also like that you've blocked the steal and sell over and over thing, since that's one I'm guilty of using from time to time :/

Glad to hear that you are interested in the mod's content, Marceror!

V4.3 will be released soon. No radical changes but just more tweaks and bugfixes will be applied to the original/vanilla game's flaws and one or two minor fixes to the mod's own content. However, some major changes will be applied to "Vagrant Ranger Kit" (= a new kit IA adds to the game). Hence, if you intend to play with this new kit, wait for v4.3 before starting your game; otherwise, you can start your game with the current version (v4.2) and then update it to v4.3 when it is released. You won't need to start a new game after updating the mod's version. Only players who are currently playing v4.2 with a Vagrant protagonist will need to start a new game after updating it to v4.3 and that's why I asked you to wait for v4.3 *if* you intend to play a vagrant ranger.

Should be interesting, I'm (mostly) enjoying IA 4.2 just now. Released soon as in a couple of weeks or a couple of months?

A couple of weeks (or perhaps sooner). :)

BTW, what's your protagonist's class/kit in IA, Decados?

Is there any chance Sikret that you'll do something with the invisibility in the new version? I'm not sure if other people noticed but invisibility is really pointless in IA. Every time I either hid in shadows or cast Improve Inv. the enemy not only sees me but attacks as well. And I'm talking about normal enemies, undead, spiders attacking my Imp.Inv./Spell Immunity (Divination) Edwin... I came really close to uninstalling IA 4 because of it.

Some (perhaps most, though not all) of the new types of monsters can see invisible and when they see, they attack. So, you need to have different kind of tactics in your sleeve.

Nonetheless, Imp.Invisibility + SI;divination can still be a very useful defensive tactics in some encounters to protect your characters from enemy spells and spell triggers which cannot be normally cast on improved invisible targets.

Playing as an evil F/M for my first time through. As I'm primarily interested in choosing the evil path and being in character, I'm not expecting to be able to cope with every fight all that well. In fact, I'm quite willing to turn the difficulty down to help finish this playthrough. I'm intending a Ranger next time to see what new stuff has been added.

I have been away for a while and am just starting to play BG2 again and ran across your mod. It sounds like a lot of interesting things to check out. I have downloaded and will try it out soon. Thanks for the work I am sure that went into it.

Everyone should play this mod. IMO the level of quality in it far, far, far, FAR surpasses that of any mod I've ever played.

Is the Robe of Vecna one of the items that is randamized? I am having difficulty finding it and this is my assumption. Thanks for any information.
