I have now tried everything to kill mellisan, I've had her down to almost dead twice and she still isn't showing any signs of dying.

I have lowered her resistance and taken all her protectiones away, but I still can't kill her. I get her down to almost dead and she heals herself, I keep kicking her ass till she's down at almost dead again.

What's missing here, do I have to kill all her little helpers first?

Hmmm... Could be a bug. You do not have to kill her little helpers. As a matter of fact I ignored them all and always concentrated on Melissan. Once you "kill" her she's supposed to hop into that light column again. You actually have to "kill" her 4 times in total.

Well, not exactly kill, she leaves when she's down to almost 1 hp left 3 times. Then she says it's gonna be the final battle so then you can beat her(not kill her) and then solar comes and you do stuff and in the end video, it shows she dies by getting blown up by the throne of bhaal. It's interesting.

You have to fight Mellisan 4 times. I found the last time to be very easy. The battle right before it was much harder.

It must have been a bug or something, cause after loading for the third time I kicked her ass and now I shall rule the realms for all eternity :D :D :D

Feel kind of sad though, the end of the Children of Bhaal saga and everything. :( :(
Now they just have to finnish NWN so I have something useful to spend my time on...

actually... Melissan does not really have any protections except innate ones i think... so u shouldnt have wasted time casting those piercemagic/shiel khelben's whip spell... instead.. my three mages and Viconia were busy pelting Melissan with a +5 Sling, 2 +3 slings each using +4 ammo, making them +9 and +7 weapons... Imoen was using a +5 bow with +3 arrows... +8 weapons!!
