I have the patch, I have the fix pack, but the game still crashes when I rest. I had this problem earlier, but it went away when I reinstalled. I reinstalled again, but the problem is still there...help!!

You'll have to reinstall the game again, but this time do it like this:
1. Uninstall the game
2. Manually delete BG2 subfolders temp, cache and override (and files in those, of course) if those still exist after uninstallation
3. Install the game back (and the appropriate patch)
