Just a thought, but if a Paladin chooses an evil path in Hell at the end of SoA, he gets an alignment change, right?
Can he then wield the mighty Soul Reaver? Also, can he still use his Carsomyr, or no? (at seperate times of course)
Anybody tried this yet, or have any idea?

If you chose evil and got the alignment change, would you be a fallen paladin? I would think so. That should allow you to use the reaver.

No, you wouldn't be able to use it. The sword is only usuable by Githyanki, so even if you are an evil paladin, you won't be able to use it.

Wildfire, are you sure it is only usable by Githyanki? I thought it was usable by all that are evil.
I've done a search on several boards and that is the first time I've heard that mentioned.
Can somebody else confirm this? If not, I'll check it when I get home tonight and post it tomorrow.

According to the FAQ (by Dan Simpson) it is not usable by good. Does this mean that it is usable by neutral? I don't know. I am at work so I cannot check the game.

Doh - my mistake. I was thinking about the Unholy Reaver - the anti-paladin sword. My bad.

According to ME it is usable by any character no matter his race. Only restriction is that character is NOT good.
Also, it is unusable by druids, clerics, mages and thieves. MC or DC can use it if it is combo with fighter excluding cleric and druid combos.
Conclusion: Paladin who is not good can use it. In SoA of course. I don't have ToB to check if BI changed this.

From the Demon Knights in the Kuo-toa dungeon, in the Underdark.

I have Sarevok wielding it right now. I'm trying to decide if I should use it, or the Silver Sword.
