Do the CDs that come with the new SoA/ToB combo have all the crap that was painted on the CDs that came with the first release of SoA? It would be worth the $25 to get rid of that horrid sound from those unbalanced CDs trying to spin up and read, or the crashes because the drive can't read or find them! And before you ask, this has happened in my last three CD-ROM drives.

You can solve that problem by doing a full install, you know...

DOH! Finally figured that one out this weekend, lol. Good timing, too, now that I actually have the drive space for a full install.

Only problem is, it still always asks for a CD when I launch it, so I still have to put up with all the same problems, but at least less frequently.

Well, I just leave the required CD inside for the period when I'm playing, so it's not much of a bother. Though, of course, I have another CD unit so I can use that one for everything else and don't have to keep switching CDs...

You could still burn it and just use it for yourself, not to anyone else, that would be legal.
