ok, I dont know wether this should be posted in SoA or ToB, so here it is.

I have been wondering, cant Jaheira take over the druid grove??

before she reaches lvl 14 she has the option, but when she gets above 14 the option disappears.
is this a bug or is it only your main charector that can rule it??

Only your main Druid PC can gain it as a stronghold, Jaheira can't.

if you get the "easy-of-use" mod and install multiple stronghold mod from it you can have any strongholds no matter what class or level you are.

well, then it kinda sucks that you get the option when she's -lvl 14 and then lose it again, why not say that you simply couldnt??

I don't remember them ever saying she could. They only say that you have to be at least a 14th level druid to take over the grove. They are speaking to your PC, not Jaheira. Since your PC will never be a 14th level druid (unless you're playing a druid of course) you'll never have the option.

Interesting fun fact about this stronghold.

I'm playing through right now with the Ease of Use mod installed, allowing me to collect all the strongholds. My PC is a Ranger. When I did this quest, I had both Jaheira and Cernd in my party, but I assume that since the mod was installed, they never spoke up when the time came and I fought Faldorn Instead (since the game considered me a Druid). I guess the game matches this fight to your current skill level, because she didn't shapeshift or cast any spells against me. She just started swinging away with her fists. Naturally I pummeled the b*tch into the ground with my fists o' smack-downedness. :D

Immediately afterwards, the quest ended and I got my experience. But then I rested, and spoke to the challenge master again. He let me fight for leadership of the grove, and I was only level 11! Naturally I wooped his tree-huggin' ass too and won the grove. They declared me Grand Druid, yet the name of my class never changed. I also got the proper rewards, which of course I couldn't use, so I gave them all to Cernd. Heh. :heh:

Just FYI.

well, when i speak to them, after fighting faldorn, they ask me if there are any druids in my party who wishes to take up the challenge(or something like that) and I then get a list with the names of my party, but as soon as jaheira reaches 14 that wont happen, could it be a flaw????

No bug, no error, unless your main PC is the druid you won't get it and even if your character was a druid it isn't so groovy to cry over losing it when you get to TOB...
