You get it from Deidre, one of the bonus merchants that you either get by owning the preorder special edition BG2 CD or downloading a tiny patch from SP. Shes up the stairs at the back of the Adventurer's Mart.

Well, even if you did get it, it costs quite a bit of money, and you may not even find the 30000 gp worth it. :(

I really don't like that robe. You can cast any spell instantly with it. Doesn't seem entirely fair to me.

Demonater, I feel that the robe is only overpowered if you're relying heavily on the mage with said robe (such as soloing w/ mage or sorcerer). It's not really THAT overpowered. The money makes up for it.

You can download the mechants from the Editors hacks and custom charaters part of the BG2 section.

Combine the robe with the amulate of power and you can cast most spells instantly.:)

Remember, rep effects teh cost of things, it is considerably cheaper than 30,000 gp if you have a very high rep 18-20.

If you think it is over powered then don't use it. Pretty simple really. :)

I personally think its fine, I am sure Irenicus must be wearing about three of them! :D
