The folks in AORTA has a question that mine have a more public impact so I thought I'd post it here.
What will the server's policy be on "banks"? Will here be a place we can safely store money? Is there a script that let's you drop money or give it to another player?

There is no 'Federal Bank of Faerun' which allows you to make deposits in say Phlan and reclaim them in say Waterdeep. So far as I know, cash is still 'weightless' and does not affect encumberance.
We could scipt a vault where, for a fee, you could deposit items but that is low priority at present.
The plan is that, for a fee, you can hire an Inn room with a key which fits the room door and a lockable chest. For further payment you could enhance that with traps and/or better locks.
I would expect before too long you would be looking to set up your own place.
